Have You Heard? Driscoll Children’s Hospital is Growing!

The sun is shining in the Rio Grande Valley☀️ Construction of our new hospital in Edinburg is moving along with the anticipated opening date less than a year away! Driscoll has partnered with Televisa Noreste- Vallevision Channel 8 in the RGV to share inside updates and construction progress of Driscoll Children’s Hospital Rio Grande Valley. Viewers in South Texas and in North Tamaulipas can watch on the third Wednesday of each month at 6:30 pm.

In Corpus Christi, expansion of our Pavilion is under way, including the buildout of a new 60-bed Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, a 35-bed Cardiac Intensive Care Unit, and a new Heart Center complete with cardiovascular operating rooms and catheterization labs. The expected completion date for all three floors is Summer/Fall of 2024.

But wait, there’s more! Driscoll is opening three new Quick Care clinics throughout our service area. Driscoll Quick Cares will soon be located across the street from Driscoll RGV in Edinburg, on Morgan Street in Corpus Christi, and in our specialty clinic in Victoria — bringing more care to more kids in South Texas.
